Sounds quite alright, but the death metal bands will probably butcher the songs... I know the Sebastian Bach one is amazing as I already have that on MP3, the Kamelot one should be good (who is Ian Perry?), Anthrax, Primal Fear and Iron Saviour will probably do well too... Why did they pick Hallowed for IE though? Its awful

a bunch of those are already on other tribute albums. I have 2 tribute albums and its quite funny listening to some of the songs.

The Anthrax cover was on one of their singles they released for Stomp442. And it sounds awesome!!!

The Cosmosquad feat. Ray Alder is very different...and great fun to listen too.

A singer, Spawny. I have one of his CDs somewhere. Nothing special.

A lot of these songs are on Slave to the Power, which was released a few years back by... umm... can't remember the name - specialises (sorta) in Stoner stuff though. Should dig it out, there are some great songs on it (especially The Trooper with horn section!).

A SINGER you say? Let me get this right, they feel the need to bring in some blow in singer no one cares about to sing on the track when they have Roy Khan. ROY KHAN I tell you! Thats bollocks. Roy Khan is one of the greatest singers of all time in any genre ever in the history of the universe.

Ian Perry indeed.

I have the Kamelot and Ian Perry version. He is a good singer, I have an album of his, but he sounds like total shit on the Flight Of Icarus track. It sounds as though the vocals were recorded in a toilet, with the tape recorded hidden inside a giant turd.

I just found I had it on MP3 as well. It's not really as bad as Sydo's making out. The tape recorder wasn't hidden. He's got a touch of a weak Blackie Lawless about him in some bits, and his got this really distracting waver in his voice. Not one of the best covers I've heard.
