Huge props to Iron Maiden for winning the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance for the song "El Dorado". They beat "Let the Guilt Go" by Korn, "In Your Woods" by Lamb of God, "Sudden Death" by Megadeth and "World Painted Blood" by Slayer.

Up the Irons!!:kickass::kickass::kickass:

Ahhh, for a brief moment all is right in the world... :worship:

Although, very happy to see Megadeth and Slayer as contenders, too! (Remember the days when it was Metallica vs. Jethro Tull--and Metallica lost! :eek:)

Oh yay. I bet these yahoo's that make the decision think they have it right. I bet maiden is just laughing at this. When Metallica and Maiden couldn't win squat while they were not just at their prime, but also the metal peak in the 80's, it's a joke. I remember Bruce laughing at this kind of stuff.
