I'm living in Shanghai, China again. I've spent years in China and am back for a very long time to live again. Iknow a lot ofpeople here and am familar with lots of clubs. What can Ido to help bring the Maidens to Shanghai to blow this place apart! Lots of foreigners and locals would definitely be interested! I speak fluent Chinese and can haggle with any club owner.

Well, somewhere on the home page I saw a link for "Bookings". I bet if you clicked that, or got some Club owners to click that, you would get their booking agent. I assume bookings go thru the Booking Agent? I don't think you're gonna book them in this thread?

Despite your optimism, it actually takes quite a bit of commitment and a bit of cash to pay for such a journey to a gig. Get all your connections together and float a deal.

It's usually not very economical for a band to go way out just for one show. It's more profitable to book them for a week and do like 4-5 shows there in different areas. Unless it's some big Rio show with 50,000 people - you make up the expense of flying out there by doing many shows / selling a lot of tickets. Also tv/media/radio appearances while there also help with publicity. A good promoter handles ALL that.

My advice would be to scout for interest first, contact a local promoter to see what the logistocs of it would be. Deal with it that way.

I had a nightmare getting local bands ot play a college gig once. Certainly wouldnt like to do it on an international level.

Also, the girls would need work permits!
