I think its funny how many of you think you cant have a Virus on a Mac / iPhone. This EXACT same shit has been happening on PC's for YEARS. You type in a URL and it re-directs you to another PORN site based around the same name. Its a common tactic.

Somebody I know with a brand new (a few hours old) pc laptop just checked it for me. It's not a local virus. It may be a virus on their server or a hack of some sort where they are redirecting incoming traffic.

No. It's not a virus, it's a DNS problem. Don't panic. It's being fixed, but it can take a couple of hours for the correct DNS info to register around the world again.

The site being DOWN has nothing to do with the virus. The simple fact that you typed in the URL and your computer could not find it is not the issue ......

The issue is you are being re-directed to PORN through a search your browser is doing. THATS the problem. Googe, Yahoo, AOL, (your fave search) will not re-direct you to PORN. Something on your system is ...... ughhh

We already know (at least I do) that a Mac can get a virus. It's just not likely. Not very common like it is on Windows.

If you're in a hurry to get there, change your DNS temporarily. You can try 8.8.8.8 for Google's open DNS, for example. I'm using my ISP's, and the site is working fine.
