I think it´s called "Ogre tunes" (great name).

I heard the song "Alone" and thought it was good, reminded me of the heavier songs on "Dogman". Any opinions on their new album?

Ogre Tones is awesome. I've had it for about two weeks and its better each time you listen to it. Alone is an amazing song, and its probably the heaviest song on there. Alone is really easy to get into, unlike the rest of the album. But give it a few listens and when you start memorizing the songs, it becomes amazing.

Kings X are one band I have known of for literally over a decade but never had the opportunity to listen to. Must get my hands on some of their stuff.

If you enjoy melodic rock (something other than the continuous drone of the power chord) mixed with Beatle-esque and Van Halen-ish harmonies, you may enjoy the new King's X. If you get a chance to see them live, DO IT!! They put on a hell of a show and they DO NOT skimp on the effort. I have seen them four or five times now and I do not think any show was much less than 2 hours, some longer.

I do find a few of the Ogre Tones, a little repetitive, it is a good album. If you are looking to get into King's X you may wish to start with any of their first three album (Out of the Silent Planet; Gretchen Goes to NEbraska; or Faith, Hope, and Love) of the newer albums I would HIGHLY recommend Manic Moonlight. Don't get me wrong I love every album they put out (I bought everything including all the solo stuff and side projects). Speaking of which if you like a funkadelic King's X go buy Poundhound.

That's it, now go see them on tour.
