Is there an angrier band...

...than Backstabbers Inc.? Seriously, I've been listening to the 'Bare As Bones' release for nearly a solid week now, and their high-velocity unhinged grind/crust/hardcore is seriously threatening to shift my personality from pacifistic doormat to seething ball of aggression. :)

Here's some song lyrics:

So, Who's Doing Your Dishes This Week, Pretty Boy?

The end. The fucking end. I don't need to see the whites of your eyes to open fire this time. No fucking names, no fucking faces, only moving targets; this is fucking war. And when the dust settles, I'll be the one picking up the bodies and filling holes with wasted space. And you, motherfucker. I hope you are still alive and kicking, so I have the chance to pick up any sharp object and put it in your throat. This is war. These stories will go down in history. All I ask is to live one day longer than you so I have the chance to spit on your fucking grave.

Charming sentiments, I think we can all agree.

That is one of Brian Livoti's (of Watchmaker) favorite bands. He raves about them all the time. I think they play shows together on occassion. NOW THAT would be one pissed off metal show.

I've just frightened myself by trying to imagine a Watchmaker/Backstabbers Inc. show... holy shit... I'm reading more of Backstabber's lyrics right now, and some of them ease off the throttle in the intensity stakes...

New Hampshire Doesn't Treat Me The Way It Used To

I've got to get out of this place. So cliche, but so true. There's nothing here for me, and there's never been, but it's taken me 22 years to realize this. You can't really live till you know what you're worth, and I want something bigger, better, anything but this place. My life begins when I take my first step out of this town. It's not just a pipe dream this time, I'm just gonna break free this time. Don't wait up. I'll turn the lights out when I leave, because I don't think I'll be back.

In print, it looks like it could be a Dashboard Confessional song. On record, it's the sonic embodiment of a fit of apopleptic rage.

Aren't Kiss It Goodbye the band formed by some of the guys from Luddite Clone? The Arsonist And The Architect used to scare my cat. :)
