I ordered what I thought was 2 seperate cds off ebay. The package came from Argentina and when I opened it I found 1 double CD case with both The Divine Wings of Tragedy and the Self Titled within. The record label was NEMS, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NEMS_Enterprises_%28label%29.

Does anybody know if this is pirated or if they're licensed? It was a good deal, highlight tracks include "Intro the Dementia" and "Tauting the Notorious". :guh:

Well... I wouldn't know for sure, but my CDs are all InsideOut - but I don't own the self-titled album.

Not to mention that SymX are signed to Nuclear Blast now, and unless NEMS is a name associated with them, I dunno if it's legit...

I think you'd get a better answer for someone more in the know though.

Thanks guys, I wasn't sure if RateYourMusic was label maintained or based on users submitting the CD info. This double CD will be nice because I'm running out of space for CDs!

It's user-based, but I figured it might be better than nothing. :(

They are totally legit.

NEMS is an Argentinian label that released its first SX album in 2000 (V - The New Mythology Suite). Because of its great sales, they decided to release the other 4 albums as 2 double CD's.

So, as you bought SX/DWoT, you can also get The Damnation Game/Twilight in Olympus.

Anyway, don't worry at all: they are legit/original/non pirate as hell! XD

EDIT: Just for the record, NEMS owner (Marcelo Cabuli) is Tarja Turunen's husband (Lucky bastard!).

as long as the disc itself is legit, packaging shouldn't matter. the record company made money off the original disc made. the first album is pretty good IMO. particularly the last 3 songs.
