Is this really how/why Steve Digiorgio originally joined DEATH?

A while ago I heard somewhere that Steve Digiorgio agreed to play on Human if Sadus' drummer (Jon Allen?) would be allowed to practice using the drummer of Death's drum set. (Sean Reinert at the time?) I have no idea if metal bands or musicians interact like this, so I'm curious if it's actually true.

-Thanks

aha, Hey Emmitt. This is Corporal Compendia. I was kicked off the Met board... and I can't get back on. I could, but I can't sign up for there with my computer for some reason, ever since the third board came I couldn't sign up anymore... I guess I could get someone else to do it...

You missed out on some amazing Windham Hell topics:(

If you want, I can quickly start a free hot mail account, sign you up, and send you your password. Let me know if you're interested. I'd be happy to do it for you.

Sure. Sign me up as 'Re-animated'... a suiting name.
It always screws up during the birthday thing for me... says it can't find the information.

I have many bands/things to tell you 2 about... I say you 2 since nobody else ever goes in those threads.

Thanks.

I tried Re-animated, but it said that someone had already used or reserved that name. So I gave you the name Reincarnation. That's the closest meaning to re-animated that I could come up with. You'll have to make another post explaining how you want me to give you the password for your new name.

I signed up with a free email account, and this is the only place where I can post. The PM and email options don't work with me... Would it be much of an issue if it was just posted here and then eventually deleted? Or if you directed me to another forum with PM's... But that forum would need to be hotmail friendly.

Anyway... back to the topic. I am wondering the answer to this also. Steve?...

That's almost right. Let me straighten it out for you.

Sadus agreed to let Death practice in our room if they left their drum set in there for Jon to play on. That part is true. Jon didn't have as good as set as - Chris Reifert - who was the drummer at that time. And since Chuck and Chris didn't have a bass player then, I joined in and learned all the songs that eventually made it on to Screem Bloody Gore. So they got a practice room and a bass player and Jon got a huge white TAMA set to play on. And we were like one big happy family! And when Chuck migrated back to Florida, because of the personal and working relationship we developed in those days, he called me back several times to jam on his new stuff.
