Hey guys, it's been a hell of a long time since I've posted on this board, mainly because of my changes in musical taste but I've found myself back here.

I know you guys hate seeing people begging for free production but sadly that is exactly what I'm asking for.

I've just finished recording a promo EP for my brutal death metal band Laceration. I originally wanted to mix/master this myself but I'm finding it impossible to do. So I'm wanting to give you guys the chance.
The recording process is not ideal, the stems wont be either. I have guitar DIs (7 string Ibanez with X2N), a DI of guitar to be getto-bassed (I.E. pitched down an octave), rendered vocal tracks and midi drums (mapped with superior drummer 2.0).

I am not necessarily looking for a professional to do this and you could consider it mixing practice more than a payed job - just across three tracks.
If this wasn't going to be distributed for free I would seek a professional and pay them to do this but that isn't the case as this EP is just to get some label attention and showcase to fans the new direction of my band.

Obviously in the download of the promo there will be a text file of some kind where I will credit whoever mixes/masters it and will provide links to websites/email, you will also be mentioned in the thank you list if we ever do release a full length (which for a brutal death metal band is not as hard as you might think).

Reference mixes are:

If you're not a fan of this music I would appreciate it if you didn't comment with a load of sarcastic crap about it.

If you are interested please contact me at my personal email Hamish-maguire@hotmail.com
If possible please include examples of your previous work.

Huge thank you to anyone who takes this seriously and sends me an emial. If I get something that seriously impresses me there is every chance I'll be back and able to pay for the full length to be properly mixed/mastered with real drums and bass.

thanks again.

That doesn't sound like real bass tracks to me, and the bass track for traumatic has popping in it anyways, as do the vocals lol.

Btw, I like the music, but not the vocals lol. But oh well :)
