...because you all should. I have loved this band for a couple years now and, shamefully, don't see them mentioned very often. Their lead vocalist/guitarist 's axework is fucking AWESOME. Great use with the wahwah too. I cannot see how anyone not into heavy music wouldn't enjoy them. If you don;t, oh well, at least you tried. :kickass:

Here's their latest:

Preachy Christian lyrics? WTF are you talking about?

Blind Faith:
You call me the sinner
but I've seen with my own eyes,
hatred and corruption
deep within your church of lies.

Masters of deception
slaves to decadence and lust,
Poisoning the masses
violating sacred trust.

chorus:
Open your eyes
tell me what you see.
How can you say
that you still believe.

Architects of madness
hide behind their grand facade.
Children of creation
taught to fear the wrath of god.

So get down on your knees
fold your hands and bow your head.
You may choose to follow
but I will not be mislead.

(repeat chorus)

PS - That cross is the most well known symbol for DOOM i.e. suffering. C'mon Erik, I;d expect more from you.

hey these guys have an album called "Thunder Perfect Mind" and have worked with Bobby Liebling have they not?

If anything, that's grounds for me to check 'em out!

:kickass: Indeed.

One of 'em is involved with Falcon as well, whom rule and also worked with Leibling. :headbang:

yes and yes

I know he at least had some involvement in one of the songs on said album

I've been thinking about these dudes lately, and how much I enjoyed the album even though I only heard it once, at least a year ago.

So yeah, I checked stonerrock.com and since I'm too lazy to look anywhere else, where can I get the green cross album? They only have Thunder Perfect Mind.

CSORE

Does JayK have this yet?

I'm pretty sure I drunkenly insisted he would dig them in some other thread last week.

lmao...i dunno...does he? that fucker is very selective on when he listens to people for some reason. he'll finally find out about something and ask why nobody told him about it, even though he has been told countless times in the past.

hahaha seriously. Of all people.

That'd be like me being the biggest Mars Volta fan in the world without ever listening to King Crimson.

Erik going nutso over Cradle of Filth without ever hearing Darkthrone.

BWD listening to I Can't Dance before Foxtrot.

lurch calling himself lurch without ever watching The Addams Family.

Etc.

I liked "Blind Faith". However, based on the MP3s alone, I can't decide if I should buy this disc. There are those discs (for me), where I feel like I need to really hear the whole thing, before if I can make the decision, if it's something I'd listen to with regularity.
