...just like my mother and sister.

It's seriously so much better than even Equal!

Right after I began carrying Splenda packets in my manbag, I noticed that Starbucks has begun offering it on their version of the "fixins bar".

I have no indication that Splenda is any better than aspartame. Derived from sugar can mean a lot of things. When I eat sugar I eat real sugar.

Besides, why would I add sugar to anything when on the go?

you eat 'real' sugar meaning the white, highly processed, chemically depleted and calcitrated form of sugar which is, in and of itself a sugar derivative?

i used to use equal all the time, but splenda really has NONE of that fake-sugar taste to it. it's really weird!

i like the fake sugars not just because of the 0 calories, but because it doesn't make your mouth feel all scummy and sticky and coated inside. (although the coffee does that just fine)

Nope, I use organic brown sugar as much as I can. Then again I don't use much sugar anyway. I ain't no pastry chef...

Alex: Sugar in coffee is yucky!

well, to the extent that ANY coffee is yucky, yeah. i accidentally sipped my sugar- and splenda-less coffee this morning before adding, and i was reminded how fucking disgusting coffee is without lots of sweetener and creamer to kill its taste.
