Is there such a thing as a bit of software that will slow down a wav file whilst keeping the pitch the same to help with learning complicated guitar parts, etc?

I'm sure I read about a bit of hardware that does a similar job. I've done a few variations on a Google search and have drawn a blank so far.

Anyone know anything?

There's a few plugins for Protools that will slow down recording. You may have to use a Pitchshifter plugin to get the pitch corrected again.
