You guys hear about this yet? It seems to be their new all-in-one vocal processing plugin similar to how Ozone is their all-in-one mastering plugin. I wonder how the pitch correction will compare to autotune and melodyne...

Got the email iZotope sent out today. I'll be trying out its plethora of effects tomorrow when I have a bit more time to myself.

Any clips you'd like me to A/B are welcome. (Completely dry, if you please)

I tested it and I think it is awsome. I'm not a super AE, and I can't compare with high end gear cause my gear is low budget, but my ears are good.
It has ton of flexibility and all vocal aspects are there to be touched. I have been testing the presets and they are great.
Holy shit! Nectar is great. I tested it with my new AKG Perception 420. Fucking great sound. I'm astonished. I'm loving my mic and Nectar.

I tried out the pitch correction (the only thing I cared about in it really) and all I got was a heap of ticks and pops plus some okay pitch correction. I haven't used the proper graphical mode in AT or Melodyne before but I found the interface on this one a bit annoying to use. The eq, comp, limiter, saturation, delay and reverb are decent I guess, but I would rather use individual plugins; with Pro Tools for example, all of the included plugins could easily pull off the sound you get out of Nectar. Breath control works very well though.

I'm not sold, personally.

downloading the demo, when i get home to my area i'll play with it and give my opinion.
