James - Guitar practice

Hi, i was just wondering how many hours a day on the average does James still practice? ...Also what was the longest average time he's ever practiced... say over a year's time?

If you could ask him that would be alright... Thanks!

well, it's only a couple hours at most lately.. i have so much going on, but when i was learning i used to practice 3 to 5 hours in a day.
for that matter, in recent years, before and after my illness, i had many days where i did not have the time to practice at all.... such is the life of the guitarist who "moonlights" as a recording engineer. thanks for asking.

Hey man thanks for the reply... i was just cruzin the UM boards and saw you just posted... cool. How about another question... when you take a break from guitar, either by choice or not, do you find it gives you fresh ideas when you get back at it... or do feel like you have to work at it to get back to the same level of playing you once had?
