Well, that's the analogy fans make for him. Naoto Shibata is the founder and driving force behind Anthem, which has been around Japan for almost 3 decades but is barely known here. Aside from the pick vs. fingers debate, there is an aggression to his playing usually reserved for a bassist like Harris. So what do you think of this?

Yeah, I can understand the comparison to Harris: it's actually trippy to see someone play that way and still use a pick. Unfortunately, I couldn't hear the bass at all probably because of my laptop speakers.
