Ukrainian metal act JINJER will release a new five-song EP, "Micro", on January 11, 2019 via Napalm Records. Bassist Eugene Abdiukhanov comments: "Nearly two and a half years since releasing and touring for our 'King Of Everything' album, we all got the urge to start writing new music again. The passion to create new songs had grown bigger than you could imagine and we converted all that energy into something special and brand new... And it seems like we've created a monster and I can't wait for all of you to give it a listen!" "Micro" EP track listing: 01. Ape 02. Dreadful Moments 03. Teacher, Teacher! 04. Perennial 05. Micro The video for the song "Ape" can be seen below. JINJER is providing direct support to DEVILDRIVER on the latter band's U.S. tour, which kicked off on October 23 in Phoenix, Arizona. The tour runs through November 18 in San Diego, California. Earlier this year, Abdiukhanov told France's Loud TV that the band would enter the studio in the fall to begin recording new music. "We're gonna record an EP — four or five songs, absolutely brand new," he said. "It will be a different direction, it will be a different approach, but still JINJER. It's gonna be progressive." JINJER's third album, "King Of Everything", was released in July 2016 via Napalm Records. The band's second studio LP, "Cloud Factory" — which originally came out in 2014 — was reissued earlier this year with two live tracks. Photo credit: Veronika Gusieva
