JINJER vocalist Tatiana Shmailyuk has confirmed to Mexico's MB Live that the band will soon begin work on the music for the follow-up to 2016's "King Of Everything" album. "Actually, right now, we recorded a new EP," she said (see video below). "So that will be released in January. But I think in the spring, we're going to the studio just to compose a new album, a full-length." Shmailyuk also discussed her vocal influences, saying: "My first inspiration was Otep [Shamaya], if we are speaking about extreme vocals. She inspired me for screaming. And later on, I found that I can do like Randy Blythe from LAMB OF GOD; he was my male inspiration. That was many, many years ago — when I was 15, I think." JINJER will release a new five-song EP, "Micro", on January 11, 2019 via Napalm Records. JINJER provided direct support to DEVILDRIVER on the latter band's U.S. tour, which kicked off on October 23 in Phoenix, Arizona. The tour wrapped on November 18 in San Diego, California. JINJER's third album, "King Of Everything", was released in July 2016 via Napalm Records. The Ukrainian band's second studio LP, "Cloud Factory" — which originally came out in 2014 — was reissued earlier this year with two live tracks.
