Joe Perry is doing "better than feared" after collapsing during a HOLLYWOOD VAMPIRES show Sunday night (July 10), according to his AEROSMITH bandmate Tom Hamilton. Perry staggered off the stage at a concert at the Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk in Brooklyn, New York, with a number of witnesses reporting that he had appeared ill during the show. The exact nature of his illness has not been revealed, although unconfirmed reports suggest the 65-year-old rocker suffered a heart attack. Hamilton tweeted last night: "Thankfully, Joe seems to be better than we all first feared. Here’s hoping he's back on stage soon, doing what he loves to do!" AEROSMITH frontman Steven Tyler wrote on his Twitter account: "Feel the millions of prayers coming your way. We all love you. Sending white light and all that I got your way." Perry's AEROSMITH bandmates Brad Whitford and Joey Kramer also used their social media accounts to wish the guitarist well. A representative for the HOLLYWOOD VAMPIRES said Perry was "stable and resting." HOLLYWOOD VAMPIRES singer Alice Cooper said that Perry was with family. He also confirmed that the band's tour would continue as scheduled tonight, adding: "Thanks for supporting Joe!"

Thankfully, Joe seems to be better than we all first feared. Here's hoping he's back on stage soon doing what he loves to do!
