What is so accessible about Satch is that he structures his songs just like a regular pop song. He doesn't get overly crazy with the noodley noodley I'm a guitar player masturbating my instrument so all the newbie guitar players out there will think I'm the shit when I'm really only doing scales kinda thing...

Joe has great tone, and the ability to structure a damn fine catchy tune. Thus making him easily the most accessible guitar instrumentalist artist out there for the masses.

(and yeah I like listening to him too. )

i understand that part... but then why do guys like Neil Zaza and Andy Timmons get the shaft? infinitely more catchy, AND better technique.

They wouldn't get the shaft if they had better PR people, and a label that was more behind them... Then the masses would hear about them more, and their skills could shine through a bit more.

P.S. I don't play guitar, and I don't know who those people are... and I REALLLLLLLLLLY suck at remembering names, so I might know who they are and not know their names... sorry... I suck.

He had some decent solos... but in general he's just another guitarist...

Also.. regarding Satch.. I don't care for him or any other guitar virtuoso out there.. the format of those songs really don't move me in any way so...
