Guitarist John 5 (Mötley Crüe, Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, David Lee Roth) is a huge KISS fan and has amassed a tremendous collection of KISS artifacts and memorabilia, spanning the decade from 1973 to 1983, which he’s turned into a museum.
During the month of May in Los Angeles, California, that museum will be open to the public, in a very limited capacity, for a total of 20 dates only. Those dates are: May 5-9, May 12-16, May 19-23, and May 27-30.
According to John 5, “It’s only going to be six people per day, because I’m going to be here with everyone and walk through and show and talk and hang out with everybody, and really take my time. There’s no rush. You can be here up to a maximum of two hours.”
“On March 4th, you go to John-5.com, get a ticket, and then – it’s all kind of secret, it’s really cool. You will get a location where you will be dropped off. Then you will be picked up… here’s the one thing that people might not like, but it’s very important. We’re going to put your cell phones in those pouches so you can’t just film the whole place, cause that kind of defeats the whole purpose of the museum. But we will have a photographer here and you can take pictures of anything you want. It’s very special! It’s in a secret location. It’s going to be crazy. I’m really excited!”
