Anyone ever checked out this ex-Velvet Underground member's solo material? I've never heard VU (blasphemy alert!) but I was reading a very interesting article about his new album and his previous one "Hobo Sapiens" which I'm listening to now and finding it nice and relaxing electronic stuff. i'd post mp3s but i'm lazy.

never heard his shitz but Velvet Underground is some ace shit right there.

White Light / White Heat is essential listening for anyone into metal which of course means 99% of metalheads will tell you how gay of an album is without ever hearing it.

now i want the new one, which is supposed to be much more back-to-basics than his older more layered electronic shit. i wish i knew what the new one was called

he's done alot of different stuff, you should read up on his catalogue before purchase. Very much more the trained musician than Reed.
