John Sykes solo!

Sykes to play in Japan.

John will be playing four dates in Japan in April:

April 16 Osaka
April 17 Nagoya
April 20 Tokyo
April 21 Kawasaki

Joining John will be Marco Mendoza on bass and Tommy Aldridge on drums. The guys are really looking forward to these shows as they always have a great time in Japan.


I'm very jealous of Japanese! Lucky bastards!

When I saw John playing for Thin Lizzy last summer he played Thunder & Lightning solo right in front of my FACE! I also screamed to play Black Rose for encore and he looked at me and played the songs for us!

He's fantastic.

I love Sykes "Nuclear Cowboy" album it's modern and bit of dance and hip hop but still fucking great heavy album by John.

John Sykes is great! I have seen him only with the Tygers of Pang Tang 3 times and even that was great. One of my favorite guitar players.
