There isn't much that Jon Bon Jovi hasn't seen and/or done — but finally getting into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame is still a big deal for him. Despite the sold-out world tours and mega-platinum albums — prior to this year, BON JOVI had been passed by every year for induction since 2008. Jon Bon Jovi spoke frankly to The Pulse Of Radio about what the Rock Hall induction means for him today. "I think it's that last great item on the bucket list," he said. "It gives me a sense of closure. Y'know, it's like, 'Well, what else do you wanna do?' All I really wanna do at this point is to do it at the best of my ability. I've always said, I was never gonna pretend to be something I wasn't when I was a kid, and I'm not gonna go out there and be the 'fat' Elvis. If I can't do it at the level I've grown accustomed — I'm gone. So, this Hall thing was the last coda. But as long as I can do it and be healthy and happy doing it, I'll keep doing it." In addition to BON JOVI, the 33rd annual Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame class will induct the MOODY BLUES, THE CARS, DIRE STRAITS, Nina Simone and early influence gospel singer Sister Rosetta Tharpe. The event will take place on April 14 at Cleveland's Public Auditorium with an edited version of the events airing at a later date on HBO.
