wow, not really the venue I expected for this.
Either way I am really excited it is actually happening.

No doubt this could be, and most likely will be, the last time Oliva does any type of touring in the US.

I tried to get the Reggies Music Joint for the Chicago stop.
The upper decision makers at Reggies didn't want to touch this one.
I think it would have done very well there. Oh well.

I agree 100% that MoJoes will not be very good for this.

Who knows? Maybe they will move it upstairs to the red room to make it more intimate.

Either way, I have never seen Oliva live, and at this point in his career (and health) I will take what I can get.

I'd say even Reggies is too big for this. Considering some shows that go to Mojoes though, I'm wondering if it was the cheapness factor as to why this is coming here.

Such as working with TSO

Teaming up with Paul O'Neil will always be a blessing and a curse for Oliva.

I have no idea what financial agreements he has with O'Neail regarding TSO.

He could be living "higher on the hog" than he truly leads people to think he is.

What it does seem though is that Johnny Lee Middleton, Jeff Plate, Al Pitrelli, and Chris Caffrey are not permitted to perform under the "Savatage" name if they wanna recieve a TSO paycheck.

Anyone recall "savatage" having to change their name to "Weapons of Mass Destruction" for Prog PoweR????
