Jorn Lande - Song For Ronnie James Dio

Technically well-played and written but lacking in inspiration and excessively polished. Also, a little too ham-handed ("THIS IS A SONG FOR RONNIE JAMES!"). Dio deserves better. But it is cool that they made it an all. Certainly not the worst Dio tribute we'll be subjected to in the coming months.

Apparently he's doing a Dio tribute album, and alot of people are bitching at him because they think it's called exploitation. What do they know? Jorn is not an unknown musician in the world of Hard Rock & Metal. I think it's great that he's paying tribute and paying his respects to Dio. Besides a good percentage of those album sales will prob go to Dio's wife.

Anyways Jorn fucking rocks, I love anything he does.

I have no problem with him making a tribute album. I just think that if I was writing a tribute to someone who meant a lot to me I would make damn sure that it was the best fucking thing I ever wrote. And maybe that is the best he could do, but in that case maybe he shouldn't make an album...

Decent song, good tribute. The 'I wrote this song for the father of the sign,' bit was pretty cool.

EDIT: I thought the girl behind the counter was a guy until she stepped back and was wearing those girl shorts. Also, the record store needs to alphabetize their stock better.
