Judas Priest Vinyl and Remasters

I've heard a lot say that the whole "the remasters" series has worse audio quality than the original releases on CD. What I wondered was whether the rereleased Back on Black vinyl editions were done from the "the remasters" series audio or if it was the original, or something else?

The reason I'm asking is I'm not sure whether to complete my JP vinyl collection purely with originals or with new back on black editions. I have Ram it Down, Priest.. Live, and Painkiller yet to buy (there are other albums as well but they haven't been remastered).
