After the greek rockwave festival, where these 2 bands headlined the 2 "metal" days, some conclusions can be obtained, concerning live performances, dvd shooting by bands and generally the metal industry.
Go watch the Judas Priest dvd live in london. The band barely moves on stage and the crowd just sits there and watches. In Athens you could see a 15000 moshpit throughout the show
. The band performed MUCH better than they do in countries such as sweden or england since the audience was raving mad! NO RELATION to the shows published on dvd's by those bands. And the question is this: Since the metal fans in "small" countries such as greece can produce this energy and atmosphere, why the hell do everybody prefer to shoot their live videos before mediocre fans? I mean no offence to england or any other country but there it is! A 15.000 people moshpit in Greece, and 1000 people barely banging their heads in London. I mean common...which sight is more prefearable to watch on dvd? :hotjump:
