Don't know how it's being offerred at such a low price (seems to normally go for over $300), but this site is offering it at clearance, and it seems to be the full version - worth checking out if you have any symphonic aspirations! (I do! :D)

Haha, I know I know, but at under 1/3 of the price, I couldn't resist! (and I have really wanted to try to incorporate orchestral stuff into mah tunez). But on that note, wanna buy a sweet power conditioner Mark? :D

Very nice VST, but I got my one for 60 bucks (38 bucks USD)!!! Was a clearance item at a local music store. And unlike Garritan and EWQL, it won't occupy gigs on your HD. Blackneonbob and Mr. Elam, chip in :)

Yeah, it was the lack of space and processor power requirements that really appealed to me; not like I'm lacking either, I just wanted something easy to use and efficient to get started with!

The Brass sections aren't great, but I bet you won't need to use them anyway. Don't use "Full Strings" for quick string bits...instead use Full Strings for chords and Violin Section/Vsw for the violin "leads". Oh, and I think kill the inbuilt reverb (or reduce it) and use some nice Hall IRs with it.

You beat me to it. :) For the price, it's actually a pretty good orchestral set. In fact, with this and Magnus Choir...you've got yourself a nice, budget set up for doing basic things. You've already hit the main points on it. And really...even the brass isn't bad. It just depends on how you use it. And definitely, turn down/off the built in reverb and use something nicer (not that it's terrible at all...but you can do better). Over all, I think you'll be happy with it Marcus. Hey, if Bob recommends it...it can't be THAT bad, right? :D

EWQL - exactly the same as your dick. You can have hundreds of gigs of it, but no matter how big your library is, if you cant do something useful with it you will still fail to please! Plus EO is far good enough for commercial uses.

If one of you are willing to sell this, I am desperately looking for this since I broke my cd.
