Just got the Ghost Reveries vinyl...

It's pretty shiney looking. The local record store here on campus had it for $13. It looks to me like there's two LPs inside, but I think it will fit nicely with my record collection of old 70s and 80s albums!

Anybody else have it?

No, nothing out of the ordinary, but I think it looks cool. Nice to see a huge version of the coverart too.

Yeah it is a double vinyl. At least all of the Opeth vinyls are, with the exeption of Damnation.

I still want to get Damnation on vinyl... The last few times it came up on ebay it sold for over US$100 ... too much. Deliverance only cost me US$40, and it's a double pic disc.

I got the Damnation vinyl....yeah i spent too much on it, but its more to get the BWP vinyl which i want so much more .

PLease explain to me, as a vinyl listener (shit 300 of my favourite LP's are on vinyl), why would you want vinyl nowadays???
Cracks, hissing, the bloody wife causing scatches because she does not have the brains to put it back into the sleeve!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can see that it may be ok for collectors who 1. want to a anoracks, 2. want to maybe make money in the future by selling. 3. dough, don't know :-(
