It's Michael Lepond's. I met him in Seattle when SymX toured with Blind Guardian back in 2002.

I felt bad bugging him after his set... but I wanted an autograph. :loco:

Getting autographs is fun...and addicting in my case. I always feel bad about bugging SymX for autographs, especially since I've made them sign like 22 things over the past year or so.....I think I should stop doing that now.....but Xerofall, you should get the others to sign it too someday, it will be even cooler :)

I wanna meet Lepond... ask him to give me some bass lesson ;)

Congrats on the sig... next time they're around here I'm going to have to get them meet and greet passes (or whatever you call them)

I was able to get all the members of Blind Guardian to sign a book, but for some reason the other members of SymX vanished after their set.

I've got autographs from every SymphonyX member, made during the last Gods of Metal in Italy. As I told in another post I was able to make some shoot with them too!

hey, I know you were at the SX/Queensryche show in Chicago April 17th I think it was... I was just wondering if you saw the guys after the show. Me and my friends left right after SX was done, and I kind of wish we would have stuck around a bit.

I also left right after SymX that night. But I saw the guys before the show on the 16th to have them sign another collection of my crap. Also saw Russ before the show on the 17th. Besides, HOB Chicago throws anybody out that tries to hang around the tour buses after the show. They actually threw me out before the show the first night...those bastards... Hopefully next time SymX comes here they'll play Metro, and you can definitely hang around to meet them...that is if you decide to make the trip over here again ;)

make the trip to Chicago again? I would do it in a heartbeat to see those guys, not to mention I love the city. Metro would be amazing, i'll keep my fingers crossed! Of course if I did get to meet them I don't even know what I would say... probably something really stupid and make an ass of myself. oh well, I think just getting a pic and an autograph would be enough for me.

i got LePond and Allen on my copy of the CD during the first US round of The Odyssey tour, back at the end of '02

then, i played on the bill with them in '03, but never got the chance to complete the set of autographs because they got into some mucho serious band meeting in their dressing room, and i didn't want to crash that. oh well... maybe next time.

and yeah, ProgMaiden, LePond and Allen were both WAY cool, spending time to hang out and talk with me. i had to remind russ that his family was waiting for him inside, otherwise, he probably just would have kept on chatting.

oh, and in '03, Romeo was totally nice. early in the evening, i accidentally walked into their downstairs dressing room (i'd never played that venue, so I didn't know the layout of the club yet), and he said, "Hey guys! come on in!"... offered me and my guitar tech beers. really cool and laid back. Sym-X had the full "suite" dressing room, compared to our "bus out back" dressing room, and Romeo said if any of us needed to use the shower or anything, that it was cool with them.

they were the headliners, but they didn't act like it... really gracious and cool guys.
