I need to build some kind of DAW controller into my guitar. even just a basic transport with like a play/stop/rec/ff/rw buttons, a roller ball and one fader haha

fuck it would be so much easier to capture inspiration

Foot pedal controller. I've discovered some guitarist producers use this trick, so that they can control their takes without having to leave the guitar.

Ha that reminds me! Brad Gillis had a controller for his rig built into his guitar way back. Let him turn his effects on and off and was designed by his brother.

But yeah if you had a midi control pedal you could set it up to act as a transport controller pretty easily I would suppose.
