KAT SIGN WORLDWIDE DEAL WITH PURE STEEL RECORDS

The Hard and Heavy Metal Band KAT from Katowice (Poland), has signed a worldwide deal with PURE STEEL RECORDS.

KAT, already active since 1981 and has release several albums (for example: "Metal In Hell", "666", "Bastard", "Ballady", "Mind Cannibals", „Oddech Wymarłych Światów“) will be their long-awaited new studio album "Without Looking Back” in December 2018, via PURE STEEL RECORDS.

Bandstatement:
We are proud to announce that the KAT rock band has contracted with PURE STEEL RECORDS. Soon we will release the title of our newest album, which fans have been waiting for, for 13 years.

KAT - first music video "Flying Fire" from the new album released

KAT has released a new video for the song "Flying Fire". The track is featured as one of the soundtracks to the film "SQUADRON 303" (Polish title: "Dywizjon 303. Historia prawdziwa") and will be on the upcoming new album "Without Looking Back", which will be released via Pure Steel Records.

KAT - „Without Looking Back" - Cover, Tracklist, Release Date: 14th June 2019

The release date of the of the new album „Without Looking Back“ by the polish Hard and Heavy Metal Band KAT on CD is June 14th, 2019. The pre-order phase will start on May 31st, 2019 in our webshop.

KAT - once celebrated as the pioneers of Heavy Metal - are currently in their second spring.

The British Metal Hammer has recently selected their 1986 album "Metal And Hell" as one of the best 40 Black Metal albums in history, and their song 'Flying Fire' can be found in the movie "SQUADRON 303” - which held its world premiere in November 2018. Now their latest work "Without Looking Back" will be released through Pure Steel Records. With this work, they add another highlight to their career, which started in 1981. Just think of the classic '666' from 1986 or 'Bastard' from 1992.

Musically, KAT have always been an unpredictable metal monster that thrived in speed, heavy metal, black metal and later in thrash metal. In 2019 they are HEAVIER THAN EVER. The Quartet with the band’s constant leader and guitarist Piotr Luczyk at the forefront is tearing slowly at the guts of Heavy Metal. The monstrous guitar, however, always remains classically melodic. KAT left the old relationships to VENOM and SODOM far behind, but in 2019 they compete with ACCEPT and RAGE. KAT will be in full bloom in 2019.

KAT has always been an institution in Heavy and Thrash Metal, particularly since the days of “Metal And Hell”. This album, released in 1985 will still be in the hearts of traditional metal fans.

Now, with "The Last Convoy", KAT shows a new face, both to their own songs and to the sources from which they took their inspiration. For the first time we will hear KAT's covers of classics such as "Highway Star" by Deep Purple, "Blackout" by the Scorpions or "You Shook Me All Night Long" by AC / DC.
