KAT is and has been the best Polish metal band. Period.

Most of you don't know the band I'm talking about. Most of you will never understand the lyrics. I pity all of you nearly equally.

Turbo is too much power metal, can't really stand that stuff.

BTW you should most definitely get one more album: "Roze milosci najchetniej przyjmuja sie na grobach.." (Roses of love best take root upon the graves) possibly their best. Also their "Ballady" (Ballads) is great if you into a slightly softer side of things.

Too much power metal? What I heard was thrash or heavy/thrash.... are we on the same page?

I have a feeling you haven't heard their sixth album, Last Warrior, it's some of the most insane and brutal Thrash I've ever heard. here's a song borrowed from the ELR homepage. As for later Kat...it's not for me, I just can't get into it. When they moved away from their original sound is when I stop listening to them. Other great Poles, though not Thrash, but Black: Imperator, Xantotol, Holy Death, and Taranis. And of course the less old school crap like Graveland, Fullmoon, Infernum and what have you. There were some other good Thrash bands like Wolf Spider and Dragon, but I haven't heard a lot from them.
