Montreal-based melodic death metallers KATAKLYSM will team up with Swedish death metal legends HYPOCRISY for a European co-headline tour, dubbed "Death… Is Just The Beginning". The tour's special name traces back to Nuclear Blast's popular sampler series and promises nothing but evenings of moshpits and endless devastation. KATAKLYSM's Maurizio Iacono commented: "It's been in talks for over two years and finally both KATAKLYSM and our brothers in HYPOCRISY can make the schedule work to join forces once more. It's been almost 15 years since we toured together and the last time we did the tours became instant classics. It's that time again folks... KATAKLYSM and HYPOCRISY team up once more for a world tour beginning with Europe this fall. The 10-song disc was produced by the band's guitarist Jean-François Dagenais and drummer Oli Beaudoin, and was mixed by Jay Ruston (ANTHRAX, STONE SOUR). Mastering duties were handled by Paul Logus (PANTERA). HYPOCRISY's latest album, "End Of Disclosure", was released in March 2013 via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD was produced by Tägtgren at his Abyss Studio in Sweden. The artwork was created by Wes Benscoter (SLAYER, KREATOR, NILE, VADER). HYPOCRISY's "Hell Over Sofia - 20 Years Of Chaos And Confusion" DVD/CD was released in October 2011 via Nuclear Blast. The disc contains footage of the band's February 27, 2010 concert at the Blue Box club in Sofia, Bulgaria.
