Greek technical/progressive death metal band, Acid Death, have issued the following update in regards to their forthcoming new album:
“We are beyond proud to announce that Acid Death’s upcoming 8th album, Evolution, will feature two legendary figures from death metal’s golden era!
– Kelly Shaefer, the iconic frontman of Atheist (also known for Till The Dirt and Neurotica), will be a guest vocalist on the album.
– James Murphy, the legendary guitarist, known for his work with Death, Obituary, Testament, and many more, will contribute his signature lead guitar work.
Both of these legends will appear on the same track, making this collaboration a true milestone for Acid Death. It is an absolute honor to have a piece of death metal history woven into this album! We would like to thank them both for that!
The recording process is officially complete, and next week we move into mixing. This journey has been nothing short of amazing!”
