KENZINER SIGN WORLDWIDE DEAL WITH PURE STEEL RECORDS

The Neoclassic/Prog Power Metal Band KENZINER from Suomaniou (Finland), has signed a worldwide deal with PURE STEEL RECORDS.

KENZINER, who released their debut album "Timescape" in 1998, will be release the 4th Studioalbum "Phoenix" via PURE STEEL RECORDS.

“We are very grateful for this opportunity to have a record deal with Pure Steel Records for upcoming KENZINER albums I`m personally very excited for next KENZINER album Phoenix, it is going to be mixture of more heavier riffs and some progressive elements, we also have a new Keyboard player Robert Leksis who adds a new dimension to KENZINER sound Thanks"

KENZINER - "Phoenix" - Cover, Tracklist, Release Date: 26th June 2020

The release date of the of the new album "Phoenix" by the Neoclassic/Prog Power Metal Band KENZINER from Finland on CD via PURE STEEL RECORDS is June 26th, 2020. The pre-order phase will start on June 12th, 2020 in our webshop.

They were among the spearheads of heavy metal in the 1990s: KENZINER.

The Finns were one of the leading representatives of the Neo-Classical style with a good dose of Power Metal. After their two classic albums in 1998 and 1999, it took them a few years to return to the scene in 2014 with their third album.

Since then, mastermind / guitarist Jarno Keskinen had to involve a new singer, Peter "Zinny" Zalesky. But in 2020 KENZINER want to know it again and they present their fourth, huge new work.

The classic keyboard sounds as well as the guitars in Power Metal style, which can be heard immediately. The extremely balanced production also brings out the strong vocals and, in total, leaves nothing to be desired. KENZINER also show a ballad-like atmosphere twice, but otherwise there is melodic Power Metal to be enjoyed by first-class musicians who master their craft and show their skills.

KENZINER wanted to conquer the world in 1998 with their debut ´Timescape´ and its famous prog metal. The source of inspiration for the Finnish guitarist Jarno Keskinen were of course 80s guitar sorcerers like Yngwie Malmsteen or Chris Impellitteri. As singer on this debut and his successor (´The Prophecies´) was Stephen Fredrick, who later joined FIREWIND, and as producer and text writer the team even had support by the shredding legend David T. Chastain. With this manpower, these neoclassical virtuosos immediately moved up to the level of the early SYMPHONY X and are still an experience for friends of Neoclassical / Progressive Power Metal many years later.

The release date of the of the album "The Last Horizon" by the Finnish Neoclassic/Prog Power Metal Band KENZINER on CD via PURE STEEL RECORDS is August 28th, 2020. The pre-order phase will start on August 14th, 2020 in our webshop.

After two After "The Prophecies" it took KENZINER full fifteen years to finish another album. In 2014 ´The Last Horizon´ finally appeared.
Mastermind Jarno Keskinen only played the guitars and left the keyboards to Jukka Karinen. The bass was taken over by JJ Hjelt and the drums were managed by Make Lievonen (EMBASSY OF SILENCE). And finally from now on Markku Kuikka (ex-THAUROROD, STATUS MINOR) was responsible for the vocals.

The whole work was an incredibly strong comeback with outstanding songs, such as ´I Am Eternal´, and was also able to score in the field of melodic metal due to Markku Kuikka's different voice, compared to his predecessor, although of course still Neoclassical / Progressive Power Metal -Friends will be still completely happy.

Many see in this third work, which will be re-released with a new cover artwork and a remastering, even KENZINER's masterpiece.

KENZINER were able to present the successor to their first-class debut ´Timescape´ just one year later. ´The Prophecies´ was first released in 1999.

Once again produced by Shredding legend / Shrapnel Records owner David T. Chastain, mastermind Jarno Keskinen (guitar, bass, keyboards) and singer Stephen Fredrick triumphed with these ten songs. This time with Mikko Härkin as keyboard player and the brilliant Brian Harris (ZANISTER, DARKOLOGY) on drums.

The re-release adds the bonus song ´Abstract Views´ and shows how timeless Neoclassical / Progressive Power Metal sounded at the turn of the millennium.
