I hate it when people say "double bass" when they're talking about drums. It makes them sound like they don't know what they're talking about, even when they do. Most drummers I know say "double kick" because they refer to the bass drum as the "kick" drum, or "double pedal" if they're using one drum but two pedals, which is what I assume Nicko does on this album. It's true that it is called a bass drum, but when I see or hear the phrase "double bass" about drumming I think, "why is the drummer playing a string instrument?".

When I hear 'double bass' in referance to drums, I think of two bass drums, when I hear 'double kick', I think of a double kick pedal on one drum.

I see your point Blitzy, but to me it's a 'kick drum' not a bass drum, even though it is, technically. It just sounds... wrong.

When I hear either Double Kick or Double Bass, I don't care how many drums there is as long as it's fast.

I say Double Kick however.
