It's just a DJ set. He does them here sometimes too. I don't need to go to Portland to see him spin his own music.
If it were a full acoustic live show like they did recently in London though, you bet your ass I'd be going. I'd go probably anywhere along the west coast to see a full on live Shpongle show.

Ahhh I see. Hopefully he'll do some acoustic shows in the area. Knowing my luck like with any other show, it'll be on a Tuesday or some shit.

He's been doing a lot more recently. Since last year at The Roundhouse they've also done Moscow and Japan (again) as a full band, and Simon is actually doing a full US tour of DJ sets this summer (except no Seattle, jerk!), so he's getting around a lot more. The full live shows have all done really well so I wouldn't be surprised if a full on live show tour happens sometime in the next year or two. He might even do like a New York and Los Angeles date beforehand, who knows.
