I'm actually a guitarist and don't know shit about keyboards. But if you were a keyboard player and would like to get some top of the line equipment what should you choose? To use for rehearsals and on stage. For some progressive metal music.

I went for the Roland Fantom G8, think that will work.

A lot of the prog guys really seem to love the Nord lead series keyboards, but they are quite expensive.
