Favela of My Dismay
Any adventures and/or activities ye cats wish to partake in before you become bone marrow ash?

Just booked a white water rafting excursion yesterday. Never done it in all my years. So much cool shit to do in life that gets kicked down the road.

Also looked into doing an afternoon of falconry. Surprisingly a ranch has it within a two hour's stroll.

Going to take up archery at some point as well. Love shooting guns, may as well shoot some arrows to boot.

I want to go to Japan and experience the massive Tokyo fish market before dawn.

Also spend some time in Europe, nothing specific beyond seeing a bit of England.

Drive across the entire continental US, and then drive home. The American version of There And Back Again aka On The Road.

I want to live in a frozen climate for awhile. Doesn't matter where, just somewhere the complete opposite of the desert.

Hobbies I already do and love. Music, nature, food, solitude. Keep on keepin' on with those. Don't need new ones.

Aye, Japan is definitely a top destination, along with South Brazil, and Norway. Got my traveling mojo down. Fell in love with cruising, shit's an all day party and relaxing as shit. Downside is its limited to just port sightseeing and one off's. How I beef it up is by book ending a few days inland. Makes for a good vacation.

Had a hair up my ass a few months ago and wanted to go to Florida. Decided against it, as cruiselines were still down. If im traveling to Gatorland to see Miami and the Keys, may as well go down to Aruba n Caracao.

no big whimsical project apart from long hiking trips in the coolest European massifs. Also longing to resume my discovery of Italy. My trip to Bologna, Ravenna, Modena, etc. two years ago was inspiring asf.

Oh, also I'd like to do a poker journey in Vegas once before I die, like two weeks playing mid-stake tournaments and cash, but I don't have yet enough "losable" money on the side for that...

This one probably counts more as a ritual than a bucket list, but something I always make sure to to do is drop off a Netflix envelope in the smallest town I come across whilst on a road trip.

Darlington, Idaho and Redcrest, California are the ones I remember the most. Towns with populations under 50 is my typical goal.

Going to take up archery at some point.

After last week's cruise del sur, stumbled upon an archery range that I had been to once 15 yrs prior. I had no fooqin idea that its legitimately in my backyard if one were to trek on foot. Probably all of a two and a half mile hike tops. If the lay of the land is to my liking, may motivate me to buy a bow sooner than later.

Also thinking about taking of disc golfing. Mike brought this up legit a few days byke, coincidentally after I stumbled upon the only disc golf course in Rio De Shitto to also be in my backyard.

Hobbies ftw

My dad used to take me to an archery range in the mountains in Colorado near where we used to live. We would hike a certain distance to each target and then shoot a variety of 3D targets (elk, deer, javelina, turkey, etc.) I won a trophy or two at those shoots. I'd like to take up archery again.

Definitely some more traveling abroad (cross country in amerca as well), would want to take up surfing eventually, do some bob ross type painting, swimming with whales/sharks, plant a huge garden with assorted vegi's, actually play my guitar on a regular basis, and also some programing on an analog synth.

Are you currently a beach bum type or are you being lured by the waves with one foot buried beneath the sand? Either way love your ambition towards hanging ten with Gidget bruv. :kickass:

The ocean is intimidating as fuck.

I've always loved the ocean, and the beach generally--but hate beaches that have no waves (or looks like a lake as I say). When I was a kid I hated getting to the beach and seeing there were no waves  If i'm going in, I want to get a healthy beating by the waves whenever possible. Obviously we don't get the waves like parts of Cali, but the water can get pretty rough off long island/new jersey with the rip currents. I have a healthy respect for the ocean, and generally know my limits especially when the water is on the rough side. Luckily i'm about half hour by car to a beach that has surfable waves for a beginner, so soon!

Also, these guys are gods among men (the waves at Nazare are  --- I'll add another to my bucket list, I want to witness that in person when waves are that size)

Also terrifying [the guy that rescues this dude , is the same one who surfed the wave in the first video)
