Killing Joke

I've heard a lot of good things about this band... And I'm in desperate need of new music. What's their best album?

All of their albums are remarkable. I read an editorial recently in Terrorizer regarding the band, I was HUGELY impressed, they are talented, dedicated and interesting musicians :)

what song does the main riff in "eighties" remind you of??????

They're not super-technical(about the same as most middle of the range metal bands) or anything but they have their own sound that I sincerely doubt any band can duplicate.

Check out their self-titled they released in 2003. Some songs are accessible, some are hard. Great effort all around, not one weak track.

If you like, check out the newest one "Hosannas From The Basement Of Hell" that they released last month. This album will take more than one listen to get used to. The production and mix make it sound like the album was recorded in the basement of hell. According to reviews, the band insisted on using very old equipment to record. I dig.
