Variety is exclusively reporting that Harrison Ford and Gene Simmons have something to smile about: the legendary actor and the KISS rocker will both be honoured by Operation Smile at the global nonprofit’s annual gala on June 3.
Ford and Simmons are longtime supporters of the organization that provides high-quality, life-saving surgical and healthcare to children in need. They will be feted alongside the Rodosky family, who also have a long history with the nonprofit. Ford will receive the Dr. Randy Sherman Visionary Award, which is named for the late founder of the Southern California chapter; Simmons will receive the Universal Smile Award; and the Rodosky family will be honored with the Philanthropic Leadership Award.
