Finance Monthly is reporting that Gene Simmons’ old house is back on the market, and the price has dropped quite a bit. The Beverly Hills property is now listed at $33 million, down from the original $48 million asking price in 2023.
Simmons hasn’t lived there for years. He bought the place in 1984 for $1.35 million and made a nice profit in 2021 when he sold it to developer Max Nobel for $16 million. After that, the estate went through some major renovations, which is why it was listed for more than double the price.
Nobel added over 3,000 square feet of living space, bringing the total to 16,390 square feet, and gave it a modern barnhouse vibe. He also built a detached garage with lifts that can hold up to 20 cars.
The house has seven bathrooms, including two primary suites, and features an open floor plan with sloped wooden ceilings. Outside, there’s a gorgeous 60-foot pool and a dining area that can accommodate up to 30 guests.
