It really is beyond bad. I watched this in elemtary school when it was on TV (it started as a TV movie).
Even at the height of my KISS fandom I thought it wa scrap.

That being said I would love a copy of it...

How dare you criticize one of the finest films of the last century! This work of art is better than... well... uhh... I don't know what, but it's the best!!!

the fact that paul stanley says "he was embaresed at the film premier should tell you all you need to know. i'd be more embarased to be touring with 2 fake kiss members than of this movie though.

Ya, this movie falls under the "So bad it's good" Category. Though it really is "So Bad it really is Bad"............It's worth it just to hear Ace Laugh though!

pathetic but KISS was so huge in 1978 by 1982 This was a late night Sat nite movie I'm sure it was on the USA Network a few late nites too back in the 80s

Actually I did that whenEver KISS was gonna be on TV
Anyone remember the Paul Lynde Halloween Special in '76 KISS performed on?
I would have been like 10............ahhhhh, memories.

I remember them being on Paul Lynde but I was 8 and didn't watch but heard older kids talking about it but come 1977 I was total KISS fiend.

i've seen the paul lynde thing on video, i do remember satying up and watching kiss on tom snyder's show. ace frehely had me laughing so hard that night.

I read someplace where Ace was talking about the filming, one day he just decided to take off, left his makeup trailer and disappeared for a few months-they had to have someone step in and play Ace--kinda like they do now

Ace quit during production of the movie and had to have his lines dubbed by another actor.

You can actually find this on DVD at some sites.
