I can't wait for this!! Kiss is like the coffee of Rock n' Roll for me. I want the new Frehley disc as well. Kiss got me into rock, and then led me to Iron Maiden and Twisted Sister, which sealed my fate.

I went and did my part today and made my official purchase. I don't know how anybody can say that they're gouging the fans on this one....2 CD's and a DVD for $13? Sold!
Yeah I'll admit this is one I downloaded a few weeks back but went and officially purchased it today.
What a great deal. I read some posts on several forums where people complained about the "kiss klassics re-recorded CD". This sounds amazing IMO. The reason it is so close to the originals is so they can use the songs w/o having to pay the prior record company. It was released in Japan last year under the name "Jigoku Retsuden" and I grabbed it then.

Agreed completely. Picked up the new Kiss today, but the first time around nothing blew me away with the exception of "Modern Day Delilah" which I had already heard. I think it sounds good and has that classic sound but Ace's solo "Anamoly" totally blows it out of the water. After the first time I heard that disc I was blown away and had it on repeat numerous times after that. In fact, I find it to be the best hard rock album of the year. Sorry Kiss but your ex-guitarist outdid you.
Despite that, I am still looking very forward to seeing them at the United Center in Chicago come November. It will be my first Kiss concert.
