I just spent the last 6 hours of my life (after getting drunk at a Halloween party; I was Gene again, this year), watching the new DVD(s) of all the old KISS concerts! I am pretty stoked, being a KISS fan since the age of 6 (1978)! It's pretty much the best thing to happen to a KISS fan since, KISS lunchboxes full of sliced bread!
All the bullshit KISS crap that's been happenin since 1978 ($200 ticket prices, Unmasked, fake Aces) is finally dead. Paul is still gay, but the shows are fuckin great! Gene spits fire and blood, Peter smokes ass on drums, Ace wails the trademark minor penatonic licks! 5 SHOWS! KISS turned me on to music (Guitar), so I will always be indebted to them! Even Paul!
At $20, they really (FINALLY) put somethin out for the true KISS fan! This DVD box set is a MUST HAVE for any KISS fan! Now I'm waiting for the Arch Enemy DVD to arrive from Best Buy, UPS.
