That doesnt matter, Laiho can wank all he likes, he has never come up with anything as good as the solos on Fade To Black or One. Though apparently Kirk cant either anymore

That is true spawn. The solos in those songs are truly special, but little of the rest of his work is as outstanding.

Oh, the solos in Orion, Call Of Kutulu, Battery and Disposable Heroes all rule as well

The only reason the rest of his work up to and including the black album isnt as outstanding as the solos in those 2 songs is because they are 2 of the greatest solos ever written

Call Of Kutulu was mostly written by Dave Mustaine, Kirk merely played it

He came up with the intro riff if im not mistaken, he didnt do any of the solos, that was Kirk

Dave is a great player but his solos are boring to me, I couldnt hum one of them despite having every Deth album, whereas I have been known to break into Fade To Black spontaneously at any given moment. Or that fast solo in One, man that kicks ass.

At least one of the solos in 'Orion' was played by Cliff and one of them was played by James. The last solo in "Call" is almost the same as the fade-out lead in "Fade to Black"

Well yeah, obviously the bass solo in Orion wasnt Kirk and the melodic slow lead was James because, as James himself admitted "Kirk does the ripping stuff out of my league" but Kirks stuff in it rocks
