Koko sound quality

Hi all,

I saw the guys a couple of days ago in Koko, London. I've seen them before and the show they put on easily secured their place as my favourite band.

So it was a real let down to me that when they let rip with Twilight, I realised I couldn't hear a damned thing. The sound system was terrible! I could make out bass drum, a bit of bass guitar, but no vocals at all. What a disappointment!

Amon Amarth: please don't pick Koko again for a venue!!

Same experience as you, I am sure you were very close from the front no ?
I was in the front row and the speakers were just above our heads. A few meters back and I think the sound would have been perfect. I was at the back for Entombed, the sound was good.

I started off by the stage, then went to the back to see if the sound was better. No change, really. There were a lot of unhappy-looking folk
