Well Anthrax fail to sell 50,000 in 28 weeks, so whats that mean?...
totally diff topic dude,i was just making mention that there last couple of album sold well over 500 thousand and this one didnt crack 100 thousand, arent u glad all this trendy ass shit is gonna collapse,it would mean bands like anthrax and other rocking bands sell more records!!!

I think the reason behind the low sales was the fact it was released early on a Friday. Give it time....While at Best Buy on Tuesday, I saw people buying it like it was a bottle of liquid orgasm. **in my best preacher voice** The truth shall set you free. Remember, there are a LOT of fans out there with $$$ to blow at Christmas.

~I wouldn't suprise me f the album didn't sell as well as their last. After Jon Davis' whining about only selling a million last time. Poor guy. Once the album gets circulated a bit, it will be burnt like California forest fire.

hardly hung up but wouldnt u like to see korn limp and the thoausnds of imitators fall off the face of the earth,it can only be a good thing for oldschool metal.

wouldnt celebate too soon, its down to a distribution problem, at the end of next week if things arent looking good then the time to celebrate is then.

Actually bands like Korn selling lots of records is a GOOD thing for old school metal, because it at least keeps heavy music on the map. Take Korn and that ilk out of the equation, and all that is left is poppy fluff. People have had the wrond view of the nu metal trend for years. I'm not saying I'm a huge fan (although I don't mind korn or the deftones one bit) but having something heavy at radio and in stores is better for heavy music in general than having none.

I'm with TD on this one. Remember - there was a time when our fave bands were the "new blood" and not wanted by a LOT of ppl. Just listen to what nods your head at the moment and fuck whoever don't like it. One o my personal faves right now is Trapts 'Headstrong'. Now I'm as hardcore and oldschool as the next fuck, but this shit makes me feel like punching sumone right in the goddamn mouth, and I like that feelin'. I usually only get that from Slayer and other "old school" metal. Fuck it. It's keeping Elton John and Justin Timberlake from being the kings of all cd players and radios so just get over it. Love it, hate it - just don't whine about it.

that's a little far fetched.

The reason people aren't buy KoRn is because they're buying some HipHop bullshit.
It's the shizzle.

you are way beyond the new trend. first off, all bands are behind in sales due to people downloading. Second, the new trend in music is emo and metalcore music. Bands such as thursday and from autumn to ashes and dashboard confessional in emo category to woooo the little girls and all the hardcore bands growing their hair somewhat long and putting swedish metal influences into their music. Nu rock is so passe.
