hi guys maybe someone know what amps/effect and maybe hwre ar even how was maded first Korn album

i dont like other stuff from korn - but the first album sound really great - the sound is clear - you can hear everything but at the same time there are noises - like tape noises - room - etc

something like draft proffesional sound - so if someone knows anything please write here

(i know its a little bit not metal:saint: but who cares:D)

The producer of this album was Ross Robinson (Sepultura, Slipknot)
it was recorded at ‘Indigo Ranch’ in Malibu, California.

I'm sure they've been using Recto's from the start, Ibanez 7 strings. Effects wise they seem like to use virtually everything under the sun, delay/chorus/wah/whammy/envelope filter, etc.

You sure it's not the production? Slipknot's first disc was also produced by Ross Robinson and had the same guitar sound as the first 2 korn disc's he produced. I'm pretty sure they always used Mesa for their main tone and god knows what for all the little noisey effects. On BBK they had a combo amp with a fan bewteen the mic and speaker to record the into.

I bought the little pentron tube mixer they tracked vox on that album and slipknots first one and machine head from indigo ranch (RIP)

The vox on the first two songs on my site are done with a 58 into it. :headbang:
